My periods have always been irregular or none at all. I was put on birth control at 17 for hormonal acne. It did regulate my periods but after I stopped the birth control pills I did not have any period. About a year later I went back on the pill and off again with the same results. I am 25 now and my husband and I would like to have children but I have no periods. I have been off the pill for over a year and can not seem to become pregnant. I took the chaste berry (Vitex) and it started my bleeding but never stopped so I stopped the Vitex and I then had a continual brown spotting which has not ended for months now. It's just a very slight amount but very continual. I again tried Vitex and within two days I see the brown spotting becoming red and heavier but I'm afraid the bleeding will just go on and on as before. Anyway I don't know if this will help me to ovulate or regulate my periods. I'm thinking of just doing the Vitex twice a week. Is there any reason that you know of for this problem and what would be good to try?
