When I would have dreams that come true. They would literally come true. I also know the difference between just a dream and a dream that actually means something.
I will give you an example: When I was in school. I dreamed that there this friend Michael and the teacher we had, started touching him improperly. That day on the school bus, I said watch out for the teacher and I explained he is going to do something inappropriate. So that day in class. We were all playing some game. The teacher was sitting beside Michael and he started to rub his arm and telling him good job.
2 Years before this, I had a dream that it was grade six, and that there was this lineup and all the grade 6 teachers were calling out the students name. Who's class your going to be in. I was called by Mr. Mcgregor, and I ended up in his class. We were in this science room and he scared the hell out of me because his personality changed so quickly.
2 Years later. Exactly what I dreamed came true.
I dreamed that one day that there was this snake going through the school grounds, and some of the students killed it.
That day at school. They found a snake on the school grounds some of the students killed it.
When my long distance girlfriend and I were seeing each other every weekend. One day I had a dream that she was bleeding. So I called her and asked her did she just start her period, guess what she started it that day.
Now to the latest. My wife has epilepsy and I would be warned before her seizure would happen. Most of the time she would have no clue it was coming, but usually I always sensed it before hand. Or I would dream about her having a seizure and that day I she would.
This is just an example.

Thanks for sharing.
I was quite young when I dreamed of a pack of dogs coming in the window, going past my bed towards my parents bedroom. I was watching them when one of the dogs said, "What the f*** you looking at!" I felt like I was awake, I remember pulling the covers over my head. The next morning I told my parents and in order to satisfy me they pulled back the covers and looked under the bed and told me to look. They laughed and thought it was funny. A few nights later my dad was out and got attacked by a gang that hung around a street corner.

One more example. I woke up from a nightmare of me walking my baby sister. The next doors neighbour cat jumped up on my little sister. I swung at the cat and it flew and it the house. I looked outside. Guess what was sitting in front of our porch. The same cat. Later that day I asked my mom if it was just a coincidence. Then Guess what happened. Seen the same cat at our door. Two weeks later, my mom was walking my baby sister. That same cat jumped up at my sister, my mom swung at the cat and it flew.

Joe,
May I ask you, with all that going on, did you ever doubt your sanity? I know I doubted mine.

Honestly, I never doubted my sanity once. I knew that I had dreams that would come true. I knew they meant something. I knew they were important for me and others. Never doubted, not even for a second. As a teenager, and now. I was very open minded. I was very aware of my surroundings. At the same time. I took up serious meditation. I practised an hour or more everyday. I think that also helped focus. I am not sure if there was a link in what I experienced because of it.

In my twenties when I began to pay more serious attention to what was going on, I guess I freaked out a bit. My father had committed suicide, and I think that was the bases for me to doubt my sanity. But that was a long time ago. I was 57 on Saturday - Happy Birthday To Me! And these things still happen, and not just in dreams. I am much more light minded about them now. I can pass stuff on and share with family and have a laugh.
A couple of years ago my daughter called to tell me that her boyfriend had just bought a car - I joked and said, "I hope it's not a red one."
My daughter replied, "Now you tell me." and we laughed because it was red.
We could laugh because I have never got the warning about anything really serious, so I wasn't worried. They did have a minor accident and next time they were going for a car they told me not to worry they wouldn't get a red one. Lol

I'm sure this one must happen all the time but my kids still love to tell it. One night while planning to send out for pizza, I went to find a take away menu. Couldn't find one, ended up ordering Chinese. While I was washing up the next day, my daughter came into the kitchen and said, "Remember we were looking for a pizza menu?" She held one in her hand. Concerned that the kids might think I didn't look hard enough because I wanted Chinese, I asked her, "Where did you find that?"
"It just came through the door." she said.
We just looked at each other and mouthed the 'Twilight Zone' tune (spooky).

Yes, I talked about all the serious dreams and feelings, but yes I have what you have which I know something, that it is just something light. Not serious as well. I enjoyed your stories. It is everyday life experience, and yes I know what you mean by that not all of it is serious. My wife and I have good laughs about certain things as well. Twilight Zone, I remember that show. When I was a kid I was spooked, the music spooked me right out, but the show itself was fine. Lol

In my teens I had this boy pestering me so I told him to 'go play with the traffic!' A few days later I saw him with his leg in plaster, he got hit by a car! Not serious, thank God, just broke his leg. I was only young and that really freaked me out. But my friends and him just laughed. They thought it was funny but I saw it as something else. Not sure what, but I think that was the beginning of me recognising that it seemed to be more than coincidence.
I talked to a minister about it in my twenties and he was very sweet and told me he wasn't sure what it was but that I should think nice thoughts and learn about positive thinking. I think he thought that if I believed I was making things happen being more positive might keep me sane. Lol
I got used to it over the years but it did frighten me when I was younger, and I was afraid to talk to anyone about it back then cause I was afraid I was going mad and I might lose my kids.
It was only when they were older that I sought out some professional help. I wanted to know once and for all just what the hell was going on. Even if I was crazy, I didn't care anymore. My kids were much older and doing fine. And I was over the frightening bit, now I was just bloody curious. Lol
It was never properly explained but I did receive some great advice on how to deal with it. I think the most important piece of advice was, "Do what you can with the stuff you can do something about and simply let go of the rest."
Oh, dear! I hope that doesn't make me sound like a crazy lady. It's just such a relief to be able to talk about it now.

Honestly, there was a couple of times when I was a teenager. For some reason a negative thought came to mind and later it would come to pass, I felt really guilty because things I thought of would actually come true. I do not know if you call it a premonition or something else. For example, I saw myself in a car accident in the ditch. Well you can guess what happened. It was such a scary situation.
Joe
Honestly you are not a crazy lady. I believe many others experience this but eighter they do not talk about it. Or do not pay attention to it.

I couldn't agree more. I am the same way. I ignored or made excuses for my feelings for years. And yet, every time these negative feelings came over me and I ignored them something would happen. I actually had it happen this past November only I listened to them went home and did nothing all day. Literally sat on my coach and did nothing because I figured nothing could happen there. And nothing bad happened. So as I'm getting older I am getting smarter to learn to listen to that inner voice.

You guys make me feel so good about... I call it My Stuff.
I can remember the turning point for me so well. My soldier husband was stationed in Northern Ireland and I was alone and feeling quite sorry for myself. And things that were happening all seemed to be rather negative. I remember thinking I would try a little experiment. If bad things were happening because I was feeling upset and lonely, what if I thought of something good happening. It worked! I began to feel better and my guy got sent home on R&R.
I carried out many little experiments like that, some I read in a book - like using positive thinking to imagine a parking space just waiting for me when I enter a crowded car park. Try it, it works! Lol
I don't think it's so mysterious. I think it has a lot to do with the law of attraction and what you believe you are capable of.
When I was younger and before I made the connection, these things 'just happened'. But as I got older, less afraid, and began to believe that yes something is going on here, I carried out a few experiments and when they worked, I began to more than believe.
Finding the terminology, the words to explain what happens seems to be where I struggled. Over the years I have read many, many books on Metaphysics - beyond the physical - and have grown into whatever 'It' is.
Even if it should turn out to be some kind of disorder - which I have considered and also read up on - it just doesn't matter anymore. I'm happy and if nothing else, I am simply very intuitive.

Yup, Sylvia Brown is a fraud & a con artist. Just last week the boy who was kidnapped in Missouri 4 yrs. Ago was returned home. I saw the clip from shortly after the kidnapping where his parents went on Montel Williams show & Sylvia told the parents when asked by the mother if the son "was still with us", and Brown said, "no, he's dead". Can you imagine the hurt she caused those parents?
I had an experience (indirectly) with her also. My brother's daughter (obviously my niece) went on Montel in Sept. 2005. Desperate to no end in finding my brother's killer- and against what Christians believe- I too went along with it-but I did mention to her that if the psychics can bring out the dark side- Oh maybe we could "just get names" & run with it & disregard everything else the psychic says. Wow I did get hell from my pastor though for even believing that! Well, we got 3 names & descriptions. But my niece brought the tape of the show to the detectives-they followed up on it-but 16 months later- nothing.
I do not believe in psychics. People do not come back from the dead & appear as ghosts. That is satan transforming himself into anything or anyone he pleases. He's got a good memory & can haunt anyone if they don't know.
Any increases in the amount of ghosts showing up or programs centered on the paranormal is just satan WANTING people to dabble in the occult!

God has given many gifts to people. That is including prophesy. Why would God give it to people of bible days, but not in these days. The hell from the Paster and the scare tactics of Satan is behind everything is balony.

There is a difference between the gift of prophecy (which by the way is not just looking into the future but a revelation of the past in the Bible that applies to today & tomorrow) Those revelations(which many church leaders possess-& even some of the saints) are from God & do not contradict God's word about His abomination of mediums. We've been through this before, Helper. If you believe in God's word- you obey it. If you do not confess what you did/or are doing by watching occult programs, you run the risk of consequences in your life. But don't take my word for it. If you don't know how the devil operates by now-I can't tell you.
In the endtimes, which is now, many people will turn away from the Faith. Those who press on till the end in the Faith shall overcome & be in glory with God -forever.
It's a gift, actually a curse only from the pitts of hell. Something not to take lightly. I won't be chiding anyone about this stuff. At your own risk do you engage this stuff. I know you will be upset, I'm sorry. I will pray for you.

You know what, if you knew we ran in this problem why did you come into this thread. I have had personal experiances. It has helped family, friends, school, work. You can not sit there and tell me that I do not obey God. You have no right. It is not from Hell, Your one of those people who think everybody else is going to hell for everything. Except you because you think your better then everybody else and that your judgements are right. You my friend are going to learn what is more important in this life, but it probably be too late, You will find out on the other side what is truly important.
My gift, Helps other people. It is from God. To tell me It is from the pits of hell your so full of yourself. Do not come here and preach about something you obvously know nothing about.
At my own risk engage this stuff. God is in control of my dreams. The dreams that come true. God is within me. Gods spirit is always with me. You do not need to prayer for me, I need to pray for you because you are so hateful.
Upset, not upset, just do not like hyprocrites and you are one of them.

Well I'm not religious but I believe in God. I truly don't know enough about the subject to argue one way or the other but I tend to believe human beings are more speicifically the human brain holds a lot of secrets and a lot of power that we don't understand. I think that is why we can have these overwhelming feelings that guide us at time. Some how we become more in tune with something else. God, Angels, the other side, I'm not really sure. I've never seen a ghost but I know 4 people who have and I trust them very much when they say they have. I don't think for one second there lying. In fact 2 of the people I know saw the same ghost at different times. One is a mother of 5 kids and has no reason to make this up. She doesn't really joke around and has always been honest with me so I believe in ghosts or something from the other side.
I don't want to get into it too much but in the year 2000 I was going through some horrible problems and one day I just got in my car and drove for hours. I wound up going to my hometown and just wandering around. I went to my grandparents old house (they died years ago when I was a kid). Around the corner I there was a wooded lot with trails that we used to go sledding in when I was a kid. So I went over there and was walking around and totally at peace for the first time all day and in months with myself so I decided to say a little prayer about what I was going through. Interestingly enough, because I was a block away from my grandparents old house, I said, something to the effect of "It doesn't even have to be God listening, just anybody that can guide me, or a relative I've never met, or my grandparents someone that can just give me a clue and let me know this is going to be okay.
So I get done and open my eyes and immediately out of nowhere from above the tree line a hawk flys down and lands on a branch in front of me. Like 5 FEET in front of me. Then the hawk just stares at me for a minute or so. There were not other birds around, no other animals for that mattter, and this hawk could have landed anywhere and in fact could have not even been seen. But he landed 5 feet in front of me and just made eye contact for a minute straight.
I don't know who I spoke with on the other side, but to me, I got the clue that I asked for that my message was being heard. And in the end, everything came out all right.
I think there are times when you receive guidance and even when you don't think you are still are.

What's hypocrite got to do with it? And I didn't know you considered YOURSELF a psychic-b/c now it's sounding like it. And if that is so, I didn't mean it to you personally. So you don't have to get so upset because I am leaving !

Good, leave then. Many people call it different things. Instinct, pychic, gift. I have had many experiances and I shared them, then you told me that I am going to hell. So yes, do us all a favour and leave.

Don't sweat it, Punky. I doubt that anybody who's read your posts on the subject will be likely to take your word for anything.
