I guess I didn't do it right because my whole question isn't there. Its his upper wisdom tooth, its broken & he says there is a hole there. He says every time he breathes it hurts up into his nasal passages. He has no insurance & its Saturday. What do we need to do to get through to Monday and can he get just one tooth out or does all 4 need to go at once? Does he need anit-biotics?

I'm sorry you didn't get a response when your boyfriend was in pain. I hope he has seen a dentist and had the tooth removed by now.

Hi, I've been putting off posting here for ages, and just reading over everyone else's questions and answers. I'm overly terrified of going to the dentist due to a bad experience as a kid. My last visit was I'd say 10 years ago when I had my braces removed, and was consulting to have my...

Pain after wisdom tooth removal [ 2 Answers ]

OK - I had a Wisdom Tooth pulled - it was not impacted. It was full of decay under the last filling. I ended up with a "dry socket" in that tooth. Went back to my Oral Surgeon who put a "pac" in it - felt so much better. Had pac taken out - the hole is much better but the bridge in front of it...
