I want to have more of a say in my kids lives?
I feel as though I am missing out on the upbringing of my children. What steps should I take to have a more solid and binding say in the lives of my children, my kids are 4yrs (girl) and 9 (boy). My wife and I don't really talk and it is very hard although we do manage to agree on some things regarding our children. There is a big issue with my wife and me and that's she is seeing what was one of my closest friends and was while I was still with her.

I do pay her maintenance for both children and regularly buy them clothing on top of that, my son has quite a lot of medical problems with his skin and breathing and I just don't seem to get told anything about hospital appointment etc.

I just want something in place where she has to keep me informed, but don't know how to go about it?

Alan, I think you have to go back and have something put in place with the judge who arranged all of this. Do you still have the same lawyer ? Call him. You need to make some adjustments to the original orders and I think you can.
