    Bad drian seal on oatey snap on. Cant get it of with out breaking it
    The drrian cover turns but I can't pop it up how do I get it of

    Hi Bill...

    Use two screwdrivers and insert them into the little squares in the grate and try to POP the strainer up and out.

    If that fails or is questionable, you could also take a putty knife and pry the strainer up at one edge and then continue to walk around the strainer until it POPS up and out.

    If you break the strainer cover it is easily replaced at any home improvement store.

    Thanks that work but,I did crack the cover but not to bad.
