Cinder block home... can we cover/side it?
Hello, we are thinking about buying an older cinder block (small) home. Can we do anything to cover the outside (ie siding, stucco, etc)? Also, is there an easy way to insulate it? Thanks, I don't know much about home inprovement so any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Ken

I would fur out and put foam insulation board on. Then you could put vinyl siding over it nailing to furring strips. You may want to rent a Hilti gun to attach the strip. Having the cinder block inside the insulation will give you thermal mass to help with the heating and cooling.
