    I feel like I'm missing something and that I'm here by myself. What can I do?
    I'm 24, and I've lost all motivation. I just want to sleep all day. I'm taking risks with my work by not doing it. What's wrong with me?
    When I'm alone I eat a lot of bad food, I watch TV, anything to distract me from what I really need to do. I feel lost and alone. There's a lot of pressure as I''m studying at one of the best uni's in the world, but I don't know what I'm doing. I also feel horrible about myself... am I a bad person? Where do I fit in? Where can I find answers to this?

    It happens to all of us at some point. You feel like your life isn't really going the way you want it to, but you are uncertain about what you want.
    You are depressed and it's not your fault. If you started thinking that something is going wrong, you are alredy on a right path. You might want to seek professional help.

    Pandead is right. You're just going through a depression. We all do it, but everyone gets over it at different rates. If you can't knock it on your own, you really do need to talk to your doctor about it.

    I am also a student and was going through the same phase you are going through... at times its OK to be depressed but if it taking toll on your studies and you yourself think now that all this is not correct than take baby step and start working towards it... go for one lecture there you will meet your friends then you will start liking it and enjoying your college slowly you like going to college... meet your friends go out with them whole day getting locked in your room and thinking that nothing is right is not going to take you anywhere... if you feel depressed go and meet your family a change of place will help you. As its said GOD HELPS THOSE WHO ARE ALWAYS READY TOO HELP THEMSELVES so get up from your bed have a nice shower and meet the people who love you and if you still feel the same than go and consult a doctor...

    It can be quite easy to just get absorbed into your own world but what you've written has really struck a chord. As a student I'm away from my family, so it's easy to forget people still care.
