HELP ME. Just because I got some bad grades( I did better than a lot of my class) My mom wants to kill me. Can you please help me. Im thinking about running away but that most likely won't help because I have no place to go.

No you mom really does not want to actually kill you. Parents often say things poorly when they get upset.
Also merely doing better than a lot of poor students is not a reason not to be in trouble, Exactly what grades did you make, at least C's ?

Have you tried to set down and make plans to study more, or better or other ways to improve your grades for the next quarter

I study like all day. All my freedom is gone. And I got a b in every thing except gym and computers where I got A+'s so I don't see y
And I did fairly way better. And I know that but my mom is in a sense Acually killing me because she insults me

Every chance she gets and same with my dad. I have NO FREEDOM AT ALL. I have money that I earned and guess what she took that away. She doesn't consider me as her son because I got "bad" grades.

There is no perfect parent, no matter how hard we try, we get upset, often for things that we should not. And B's and A's are good, but some parents want to force and expect higher, and I have seen it effect kids very negative over time.

And while most parents expecting straight A's want to hear this, actually having a well balanced high school, with some sports or social events will do better getting you into many schools. And every student who passes high school can get into some college, ( maybe not Ivy League but at least Jr colleges)

And you know what, after you are older and getting a job, I have never ( and don't know anyone) who was ever asked what your grades where, just did you graduate.

Often if you need, talk to your school counselor and if they think it will help have a group meeting with your mother and counselor latter.

That's what I don't get be and a's aren't that bad. That's y I'm pissed and thinking of suircide and I'm only in the 8th grade

My parents and now I'm so scared I don't even want to live. I'm sending them signals that there ruining my life but the don't get it. And if I tell them up front I knoww there going to flip out.

I'm trying to get a feel of your life and what you're going through.

I just feel like I'm missing something here. Your grades aren't bad, granted some parents can be very strict and anything less then an A is bad but that's what we need to know!

I don't use AIM or any messenger for that matter, but AMHD will suffice. You say you're a computer nerd, what area of computers? It just so happens that I have my degree in Computer Science: Networking.

Any sort of projects you're working on ie: Computer projects you may need help with?
