Installed RTH2300 and its not working correctly
I just bought a Honeywell RTH2300 to replace an older thermostat in my house. I have an oil furnace and two zones. One zone is working correctly, but the other is not. The zone that IS NOT working correctly has a White (W), Red (R), and Blue (C) wire coming out of the wall. I have the White wire going to white on the RTH2300, the Red going to red, and the blue (C) taped off and not going to anything. The zone that IS working correctly has the W, R, G, Y, and Blue (C) wires coming out of the wall, and I taped off the Blue wire and had the others go to their respective colors. Can anyone help with the zone that is not working correctly?
