    How do I verify a Ghana woman's Pasprot and US Visa
    I met a Ghana woman and she sent me a copy of her passport and US Visa. How do I verify that they are official documents before I split the cost of the air-plane ticket.

    Can I pay for her travel in the US and have her get her ticket at the Accra airport?

    How should I go about this?

    Did she already have you send money for the passport and visa ?

    There is no real way, since often the scammers use real passports they buy or steal from people there.
    Normally the person you are chatting with will be their 70 year old grandmother or maybe their mother or even father, pretending to be them

    Also you did not "meet" them, I bet they messaged you on a dating site, and after a few messages they love you and want to be with you.

    But yes, you can prepay a ticket ( slightly higher) that they can not cash in. You merely check out the flight info and contact the airline directly.

    Agree with NYcityboy...

    Reimburse her when she gets here... normally those who can obtain US visa must be able to prove to the consulate that they have sufficient funds.

    Don't send $$ and don't send ticket...
