What to do about overnight visits. Who pays the tab?
I have similar problem. My ex is moving 200 miles away. I have sole physical and legal custody. He has limited visitation, NO OVERNIGHTS. He expects me to meet him half way two weekend days and every other weekend. He pays almost NO child support and wouldn't agree to pay for gas.. ( I have a gas guzzler). Upon thinking on it I feel burden of transportation should be on him. I want time to myself, but a two hour commute twice a day on HIS WEEKEND seems unreasonable. I want other opinions... PLEASE?

I moved your post since it was tagged onto another that was a few years old. This should get you better responses.

As far as who pays what since he is the one that moved away its his responsibility and if he has no court ordered overnight visitation then he really should go back to court to get it in writing.

Agreed. Obviously the visitation schedule wasn't written with a distance of 200 miles in mind. The parties should go back to court immediately to get this resolved. You are going to need the assistance of an attorney on this one I think.

Yes, very likely he will be able to get full weekend visits to make visits reasonable at the new distance, And perhaps other visit times.

As for as who pays, he will unless he gets a change in the court order that would require you to pay part of it or to meet him
