    Thermopile
Have free standing gas heater. It is an osborn bay vista made in 1994. Pilot will not stay lite when I realise the pilot knob. I suspect the thermopile but can not find one.

If the pilot goes out it seems more likely that the thermocouple is faulty. If the plot stayed lit but the main gas valve didn't open with a call from the themostat I'd suspect the thermopile.
