One day before I was suppose start my period I noticed a little brown streak in my discharge when I wiped. The next day I was suppose to begin my period. I started having abdominal pain and lower back pain. This don't feel like pms that I normally have. My best are real tender. I am only 3 days late. I have had quite a bit of discharge the last few days. The pregnancy test says negative. I'm more tired than usual and kind of short tempered toward my husband. I went to the doctor and they said they didn't know what was going on. Just give it a few weeks and come back if it continues how it is going. Does anyone have any advise to ease my mind.

Waiting is really all you can do at this stage. It may be your period will start soon, just a little late. It may be that you are pregnant, but it was too early for the test to pick it up. It may be that you are going to skip a period this month... it can happen, even if it never has before.

If still no period in another week, try another pregnancy test. If still negaive, see what happens when your next period would normally be due.
