    Obscure animated dog movie
I remember this film, vaguely, from watching it as a kid in the 90s and for the life of me I cannot think of what it is called. I believe it starts with a puppy who loses her mother; as in she dies, I think. I'm pretty sure the puppy then grows up and most of the movie revolves around her when she's an adult and has a puppy of her own. I think. I could be mistaken... Anyway, I know it features a brown dog and is about a puppy and mother dog. I remember they acted like dogs and the story had sad moments. It wasn't like a happy-go-lucky Pound Puppies movie or anything. And I'm pretty sure the title of the movie is the dog's name.

Ooh, yeah. I remembered some of the details wrong, but that's it.
I thought maybe the dog's name was "Cuddles" or "Snuggles" or something... But, no, "Scruffy." Thanks!

Obscure 80's animated children's movie [ 0 Answers ]

I used to watch an obscure animated movie from the 80's/early 90's. I remember little people, possibly gnomes, who lived in the woods. I also remember a human kid who played the piano. At the end the gnome people sailed on a silver/white boat that looked like a giant leaf. Any ideas?

Obscure animated kids movie [ 2 Answers ]

I remember watching this as a kid, been driving me crazy trying to remember it! It's about this evil king (and he's fat with a pointed hat I think, and kind of looked like bluto from popeye). Basically he is destroying the forest with this giant evil-spikey-looking machine. And its got a castle,...

Obscure Chidlren's Animated Movie [ 7 Answers ]

My parents rented an animated movie for me a few times when I was younger that I would like to find again. I watched it sometime between 1980-1986. It was about the same time in life when I saw Watership Down and The Last Unicorn. It left me with a strong emotion, one of feeling helpless,...

A little boy wakes up to find his small home empty, and looks outside to see all the villagers turned to vaguely human-shaped, stone, blocky, tetris-like puzzle pieces and walking mindlessly along a downward sloping path toward the edge of town which rests along the seashore, where an evil wizard...

Obscure 80's animated movie gnomes [ 3 Answers ]

Hey, I've looked everywhere for this movie with no luck. It's reminiscent of David the Gnome (but is not!). The storyline is that there is a young fairy or gnome with a grandfather gnome with a bright red nose and two fairy/gnome friends. The fairy happens across a house where she hears a piano...
