Lack of hot water to master shower
Moved to AZ from Indiana. Found a lack of "hot" water in the master shower but the guest shower is OK. We have to wait 2 to 3 minutes before the shower gets hot. Then after a while it seems to turn lukewarm. The kitchen and the two bathroom sinks as well as both tubs are OK. Any suggestions?

On some showers there is a mixing valve adjustment. This may be set to low. Check with maker of shower valve to see if u have that type and how to adjust.

    Good luck

What's the brand name of the shower valve? Single handle? How old? How long does it take to turn "luke warm"? Give me all the information on the valve that you can. Regards, Tom

It's a single-handle Delta (Tub and shower are separate). We are 2nd owners in this house built in 2003. It take 3 to 4 minutes for the water to get lukewarm to hot.

My Mira 723 shower only puts out cold water. It has direct 22mm supplies from the H&C water tanks. A friend says it is probably a broken thermostat. I am remodelling the shower room and want the most cost effective solution. My options appear to be: 1) buy a new shower valve (expensive); 2)...

I have recently lost the amount of hot water in my upstairs shower. I still get lukewarm water but not hot water. The upstairs bathroom sink still gets the hot water, as do all other faucets in my house. The water pressure has not changed. The faucet is a Symmons Allura S-76-2. I have read...
