What do we do next to salvage our well?
We had a well drilled about 18yrs ago which was never used and there had been a cave in that took the pump to the bottom of the well where it sat for many years. Last week we managed to free it up and get the pipe to the top where it belongs (we felt the weight fall off after lifting it 10 feet). It has three wires on it, (green, black and red). Is it best for us to replace the pump or try to hook it up without a control box to test if it works? Is this a 230 volt or 115 volt?

Please advise and thanks for your help,

    Ray
