    Removing shower knob
I know some of you will get a chuckle from this question, but how do you remove the control knob from a Price Pfister three knob shower valve? I've removed the center screw and when I grasp the knob, the valve still turns/pulls/shakes. Do I need a special pry-off tool?
    Thanks!

You do. It's called a "handle puller",(see image) and it works just like a wheel puller. Most plumbing wholesale houses carry them. Good luck, Tom

Thanks Tom. That's the picture I had in my head, just hoping I didn't need to buy one. Oh well. I thank you and the others on this forum for your previous posts. Without them I wouldn't know what my original problem was or how to fix it. :D

Shower/ bath pull-out knob [ 1 Answers ]

The pull-out knob on the faucet has broken off. I cannot use the shower head as you cannot switch from faucet (for bathtub) to overhead shower. How is it repaired/replaced as the knob is a part of the faucet itself. Thanks for any info/diagrams. Dennis the non-plumber.

Broken Shower Knob [ 2 Answers ]

I recently had a shower knob break and can not find a replacement knob that fits. I've been to Lowe's and Home Depot and the knobs I buy won't fit. It's not the knob itself that doesn't fit. It's the pipe that grabs the knob is too big and won't insert. The house is a 1970s house and I need to...

I've replaced faucet washers before but never in this house (2.5 yrs in this old house). The knobs in the shower are hot and cold with the faucet in the middle for the batch.
