Waterline from structure to main line hook-up
    Hi

My question is in regard to waterline from existing structure to main line hook-up. We have a triple wide mobile home being installed on our property. It has copperline underneath and can I use copperline to hook it up to the main water line. Or should I use CPVC. When the lines come out from the bottom of the structure the line will be underground.

I would stick to copper or pex. I don't recommend using cpvc. I assume you are talking about hooking the trailer water inlet to the underground service. All pipes underground should be copper(or depending on your codes, it could be black nylon) Please let me know exactly what lines you are trying to hook together. If you could post a clear pic of you setup, it would help.

Do you know what the mainline water pipe is made of? Copper, PVC, or some other material.

I would connect it with what the main line is if it is copper or PVC.

Pex might be the easiest to use, the fittings are very user friendly.

Just to confirm: Yes, you can use copper.

Use pex for above ground. This works for all codes. Use 3/4" to 1" Copper from water main to curb shut off. Use Black plastic from curb shut off to water riser. Then Pex from water meter to water inlet to home. I'd advise using 3/4 pex from water meter to water inlet. 1/2" pex will work depending on how many bathrooms and the amount of water usage.
