    Installing sheet vinyl flooring
    Can you put a foam pad under the vinyl floor?

    If u put padding under sheet goods, people with high heels will puncture it and could possible be hurt.

    Any thing can be done, just about, but does not make it right.

    A good quality sheet goods has a backer on it that is safe and resilient.

    Yeah...

    If you look around you can find vinyl sheet flooring that comes with a thin layer of foam backing... only way foam goes with vinyl flooring... ;)
