    Hello, I am a 25 year old female, with several painful ovarian cysts, one of which is over 6cm. Over the course of the last three months, I have experienced severe pain, and spotting. I've been seeing doctors for it, and had a surgical consult yesterday. The surgeon suggested waiting two months, while trying birth control and pain killers. Yesterday afternoon, I started what seemed like a normal period, but today I started bleeding extremely heavily, with very large and hard clots. There are a lot of them, and the bleeding is so heavy I had to ask my fiancé to go buy me adult diapers as tampons and pads were not keeping up. Is this a side effect of the cysts or an unrelated incident? Additionally, I had a blood panel done recently, and all of my tests were fine. I was tested for diabetes, CBC panel, testosterone, and cystic fibrosis. Please let me know what on earth this could be and what I should do about it.

    Additionally, I have never had children, I'm not pregnant, and I have never had any STDs.
