Employer spoke of my medical issue in a meeting
About a month after being out of work for 6 days, my employer referred to my medical issue in a meeting with 3 other bosses. I feel my rights were violated. Do I have any recourse?

If the meeting was to discuss issues in the company and this was one of the issues, they are free to discuss it.

Not enough info as to what was said, and in what context

The meeting was to discuss the needs of the employer and the fact that myself and others in the department were being moved to different work locations to better accommodate those needs. My boss mentioned my medical issue and the fact that he thought the new location might work better for me. Not only did he not portray my issue correctly, my medical issue has nothing to do with my work location.

Would there be reason for him to think your new workspace would be better for you medically? (not that that excuses him) Should you give him the benefit of the doubt? Does anyone else know of your medical issue?
