    Joint Fixed Deposit
    Hi, I was in US for around 2 years on salary and have saved some money.In April 2010, I came back to india and got married .After marriage , I did joint fixed deposits(>15 Lakhs) with my spouse`s name as first name and my name as second name.The interest that will be accumulated in this financial year and going forward can be delared as an income for my spouse or for me.NB: My spouse is a homemaker and has a PAN card."
