    Is my well pump working
    Hi
The one pipe coming out from my pump to my tank was leacking so I turnd it off to fix it. After a day to let it dry , I turnd it on and no leacks but now its not building pressure in the tank, It stays at about 9psi , do I need to prime the main line with water ? Im at a loss, my pump seems to be pumping just not filling the tank

You probably need to prime your pump. On top of your pump housing you will see either a plug or a pressure gauge. Remove it, pour in water until it overflows, then watch for few minutes. The water level should hold steady. Replace the plug/gauge and you should be ready to go.
