Correct me if I am wrong...
Am I not understanding something about this site? Is this site for people, ordinary people to come and seek advice and opinions from other ordinary people? To get some sort of different perspective on something. To learn from someone else many a life lesson that someone else has learned along the way.
Reason, asking is I have noticed several responders or question answers that say that someone is an “expert” or the part under their screen name says expert but you look at their profile and it says either that they aren't an expert, nothing to indicate that they are, they are in school for something, etc. (also, since when did just being in school for something make you what you are going to school to become? Don't you have to graduate first?)
I have noticed that their seems to be some “club” or brotherhood among some of the different “experts” that answer questions? NOT all, I just said some, but enough that I have noticed. As an observer I have read some different comments from people such as…a person's opinion was wrong, their doctor was wrong, they didn't know what they were talking about, someone was this or that, that someone couldn't have an opinion that they were wrong and didn't need to basically disagree with some that had more “experience points”.
What are these points all about in the first place. Maybe someone can make me better understand how these point work and how people become “experts”. Not judging, really not…just have observe red and curiosity has made me want to inquire.
I have noticed that not all the best advice that I have seen write comes from people with the highest “points”. Sometimes it comes from people with rather low or negative points. Not sure how you would get a negative point. Is that for a wrong opinion?
I would think that many people that post responses on here are adults. So, why am I noticing all the apparent bulling being done by some? Are we as adults supposed to show an example to young people that bulling is wrong? I try to. It should be stopped, by everyone.
Correct me if I am wrong….please.

Hello fred:
Ok, you're wrong... We're just a bunch or ordinary people, who aren't a perfect lot. We do what most people do... We make friends, we get jealous, we make dumb statements...
What do you want from us?

Things will vary by area, but yes anyone is free to give answers, rank is given by the stite not as much by degrees but by answering questions for a long time, and doing so professional with good answers.
In areas of law, many of our people are police officers, attorney, real estate agents, insurance agents and more.
In the medical area they may be a RN or other medical person. In eletrical, they may be a proven person in that area.
But of course what I find, is that a new member who has only been on a site for a few days or hours, thinks they know all about a site. And start calling names.
And often it is a matter that newer members are not following rules and senior members try to correct them not ganging up on them

Just like your spam on this site, you posted the above post at least 5 times on various areas.
So what was your other user name before you were banned perhaps ?

Ok, hi jelly1bean, you must have wanted to break another rule by using a second user name.
This user name is being banned.

Funny that they mentioned something about being told that their doctor was wrong. Earlier I saw a thread where a user told a new mother to add baby cereal to a 2 month's old baby bottle. And then got upset when 2 other members told her how bad that could be for the baby and that the dr who told her that was wrong. Have to wonder if this is the same user... can't find the other thread right now

I think I can clear up why Friedpickles/Jelly1bean made an alias. She did it to come after me because I gave her a reddie for inaccurate advice. The two revenge reddies from Friedpickles and the one from Jelly1bean say it all.
Yes Justcurious, that's the thread. Jellybean created friedpickles to give me the revenge reddies and give herself two greenies.
Why is Jellybean not banned? Alias abuse is against the rules and cause for banning, is it not?

Actually I think she did it to give herself a greenie. Well, friedpickles is gone and jelly1bean has been issued a warning.

Well she managed to give herself two greenies, and two reddies for me.
I normally don't care about reddies, especially when they come from people like Jellybean that just don't want to hear that they're wrong, but the fact that she gave me these reddies with her alias, which is strictly against the rules of this site, really is upsetting.
We have rules for a reason, and Jellybean has managed to break many of them in her short time on this site. Her little speech patting her alias on the back on the other thread is really just too much. The fact that she went so far as to create an alias just so she could make it look like someone agreed with her, is really wrong. What kind of people do that?

It is my belief that these big balls should be held... Opps, that's an AC/DC song.
I think that the reddies given by the alias should be removed, but I don't have that ability.

I think the greenies given by the alias should be removed as well.
I hope she comes back with a better attitude and realizes that she can't just do whatever she wants, and that creating an alias just to agree with herself and dish out a few reddies, was very childish behavior.

I have reported all reddies given by both aliases. Hopefully they will get removed.

No, but I have tried jelly beans, and they're nummy. :)
I've always wanted to try fried green tomatoes, like the movie. Even though I've never seen a green tomato, unless you count the ones that aren't ripe.

Years ago in Erie PA, I had a choice of fried dill pickles or french fries. The fried pickles were very good, but I ate too many of them. Never again.
