    Can Romex Simpull be used with nyc code directly under vinyl siding?
    2 family house. Please give me the answer if you know. Also I was told there is a code but can't find it and if I do not sure what I will find if I will understand what it means. Code 344.12 B 4 I do not know electrical.

    Romex Simpul NMC is not rated for wet use and under outside vinyl would most likely be considered wet. You could use UF but even with that there is no protection for physical damage to the wiring. It needs to be better protected from nails etc. I don't have my code book at this computer now but that number looks like the National Electrical Code. NEC
