    How do I become a hair & make artist for the dead?
    I am a hairdresser and was wanting to do hair on dead people what do I need to do?

    I knew someone that died and when she did a friend of hers that was her hair dresser did her hair and makeup. I would think if the family talked to the funeral home you might get a better idea of their policy since they may vary.

    I looked it up and the person that is trained to specifically to the services you are asking is... A mortuary cosmetologist is a licensed cosmetologist who performs a variety of cosmetic services to prepare a deceased person for funeral services.
