    I have 5 pinhole leaks coming from the water main, is there a temporary fix?

    What kind of pipe and can you shut off the supple at the street?

    I'm going to assume that you have copper piping . There is no temporary fix. The faulty section must be rewplaced. But now you must locate the source of the problem.
    Pinhole leaks are caused by electrolysis. Current from your house electrical system is bleeding back to ground through the plumbing system. You'll need a plumber to replace the faulty section of pipe and a electrician to locate and repair the short. Good luck, Tom

    5 pin holes indicate entire pipe is going bad. It may be more economical to replace the entire main line since chances are you will be repairing another pin hole leak(s) pretty soon.
