    Sued for costs in Ontario?
    Hey Guys,

I have a questions regarding small claims court in Ontario. We recently sent out our claim but it turns our that it was statute barred. A settlement conference has been scheduled in a couple months. I was wondering if we could drop our claim without any risks of costs against us (i.e. her costs to hire her lawyer and filing her defense claim)?

Thanks in advance for your response.

That is a question you will have to pursue with the Ontario Court you are attending.
