I'm good at this but this is my baby girl (my husbands and I first cat together) I don't want to loose her

Do you have an emergency vet clinic nearby or a vet to call?

We've had many cats over the last 25 years and this is said with a lot of compassion... [B]you need to stop worrying[B] and stop worrying her. The only time we have ever had to help any of our cats with their kittens is when the persian gave birth. The vet said that sometimes flat faced cats have trouble cutting the cords so we had to help with that. Part of the reason that she gets up and moves is to help with labor, the other part is that they like to be hidden and left alone. I hope this helps some, Good luck and congratulations.

I wasn't criticizing you. I was simply wondering if there is a vet nearby to call for advice.

Hheath is our site Cat Expert, but she's offline right now. If I remember correctly, she says it takes as much as 24 hours before kittens start appearing. I will check on this site for her posts about that. Hheath advises worried owners to just sit quietly and let Mother Nature take her own time.

Here's a page on cat labor that might help --
