What are you going as for Halloween?
For those of you who participate in the festivities of Halloween, I would like to know what you are going as.

I for one am going as Joel Madden. Lead singer for Good Charlotte.

I did not go anywhere as myself to any parties. Don't go to parties any more. That's what happens when you get to be an old fogey.

Hey... I resemble that remark... :D

I know what you mean... the older you get... the more stupidity you see in most parties... people pretending to be something they aren't.. trying to impress someone that's not worth impressing... etc...

I disagree with the fact that you believe that ALL people are being fake and trying to impress someone. Halloween is about being something you're not. I don't need to impress anybody I am married.

I go to see old friends, have a beer (or 2, or 3, 4, 5 etc.. ) catch up on the news and just relax from my work week.

I agree a lot of people use parties as a chance to impress someone, try to get laid, etc.. But not all.

I dressed up as a doctor to take my kids trick-or-treating.

Well, I play a doctor at work, so it's not far from the real me.

Wait until you get older... you will be Surprised at what you will see then you can't see now in your youth. Even in your own actions... there is a LOT more trying to get approval of your peers behind most young peoples parties then even they can recognise at the time.

Heck... I can still vividly remember high school... (as well as what I thought about various things then)... and my 30 year reunion was last year.

Like I said... been there, done that.
