Light cycle

I am on day 3 of a cycle which pretty much started on time, but has not gotten progressively heavier. In fact it has been unusually light, consistency, and amount even by day one standards. This is in no way normal for me... it's a bright red/pinkish color. What could be possible reasons for this?
