Me and this girl have been friends since 10 grade. We always would sit together on the bus. Then in 12th grade I started going out with this other girl who didn't like my friend. She made me make her delete my number and my friend hated me and wouldn't talk to me at all. I felt horrible about this and I missed her. Well a few months later me and the girl broke up. And I also had to hide the fact that I liked my friend so she wouldn't flip out. (I would have never cheated) anyway I saw my ex friend at the time a few months later at a harvest fest and I said "do you still hate me?" "yea, do you still go out with that slut?" "no, can we be friends?" "can you apoligize?" "..im sorry" "for?" "...choosing her over you" and after that we were friends again then a few days later I txted her (she told me she never deleted my number she told me she did but then re added it from a text earlier that day) and asked her to hang out and she said yes then the day came and she asked me to help her play guitar so she could play in the unplugged show at my old school (she's a senior now and I'm a freshman in college) I don't get why she has soooo many other people she could have asked but she chose me. And she would mess around with me and make fun of me if I messed up playing. And she tells me to sing and I'll be like I can't sing I suck at singing and she'll be like yea okay. She knows I can sing and she thinks its really good. When I played at the show she sat directly in front of me. She also told me she loves disney movies and the color purple and even what kind of ring she wants when she gets engaged. Also when I was over her house after the lesson I was playing and she was staring at me and then I would look at her and we would stare at each other for a while and then she'd say what and I'd say I don't know. I can also get her to laugh and she mentions how other guys are hot and before I forget she said she new me and my ex would break up and that she was kind of hoping for it. I'm really having a hard time figuring out if she likes me or not

It sounds to me like there's a good possibility she does. But you can never know for sure until you hear it from her. If you like her, try taking her out in a more romantic setting (movies? Dinner?) Or, talk to her about it. Ask her if she's ever thought about you guys being together. Opening it up to discussion is never a bad thing..

I also forgot to mention that if she gets screwed over by a friend she stops talking to that person completely and doesn't believe in resurrection. I don't know why she gave me another chance

To me, it seems as if you two are good friends and if you enjoy that then maybe having a relationship with this girl is a good idea if you are going to risk the friendship. Relationships that start during end of high school and beginning of college have a small chance to stay together forever. So unless you are willing to risk the friendship, don't ask her what she would think if you were to propose going steady and see where the friendship goes on it's own. Or, if you are convinced that the relationship whether it lasts forever or just for a while would be worth it, then ask her out and talk to her about how she feels about you. Remember that you have nothing to lose by talking so do it!
