Ugh. I'd LOVE to know why adults don't get the energy that kids have. HOw are we supposed to keep up?
Just remember, CBW... part of how tired you are is nicotine withdrawal. It really does mess with your sleep.
Only 3 yesterday, Chippers? That's awesome! Great job!
I had a huge fight with a co-worker yesterday, and it's making me think about leaving my job. The urge to light up today is sooooo bad I just want to cry. So... keep me in your thoughts, and don't cave! We're all doing great, and we're better than a bad habit!

I swear to you... if we could harvest the energy of 2 year olds around the world, we'd never have a power crisis again. They GLOW with energy!
I don't blame you for being tired... I spend 2 hours with my 2 year old niece and feel like I need to sleep for 2 days!
I won't if you won't! I promise!
(thanks for the hugs... I felt them all the way around the world here)

cbw, how did it feel to not going down for a pack of cigs? I'm guessing it felt good and empowering too. knowing you resisted temptation does make you feel stronger and if not a little bit more proud of yourself.
no one who hasn't been thru the actual quitting and the withdraw have no idea the tremendous effort it takes. not to mention the struggle. its like learning new habits all over again. but we know the ends are worth it. so even with the jokes and the fun we take it seriously not just for ourselves but for everyone on this tread.
just remember there's nothing wrong with wanting one. you can want one and remember how far we've come since saturday. so far almost a week. soooooooo chocolate roses for everyone.
think of all the money youre saving on cigs, lighters breath mints. your teeth will get whiter and not to mention your clothes will smell nicer too. cbw, hun, youre setting such a good example for millie. evenif she doesnt realize it yet.(maybe if she did she wouldn't be such and itch at night) for that I'm giving you the golden pacifier.
keep up the good work. I"m inspired by you guys. so far I had 3 cans yesterday and one today. Chippers
My dearest Chippers. Thanks so much for the inspiring words. Perfect timing. Way to go with the 3 cans... incredible!! How you feeling with it?

Hope she doesn't mind, it was a friendly loving nudge.:p
Hee Hee... that wasn't a "Naughty Naughty"!:p I have been popping in  on this thread to check on everyone's progress daily and I guess I feel a little WEAK! You all are doing so wonderful and I feel like a big PUSS!!
I get paid today so I am going to go pick up my prescription to quit smoking. Yes... yous can say it... you all have the will power to stop without help of drugs but I feel I need it! It has an appetite suppressant in it allso. Everyother time that I've quit for a month to 3 months, I racked on some weight.:o (Being single yet and 32 scares me. There are a lot of men who want to date skeletons). I know I've talked about the drug in the beginning of this thread already... sorry!
My day is TOMORROW... (1/19/07), which is the "first day of the rest of my life".
Allheart... I do appreciate the nudge. I will need nudging from time to time! Also, if and when you need my "nudge", I will also nudge you back:D !

Single4... what makes you a puss? That you know you need help? I'd call that knowing yourself, not being a wuss! I'm cheering for you! You can hang out with us all day tomorrow, and we'll give you hugs when you're having a hard time.

I should seriously turn you guys loose on her. She's just not fun to work with.
She's quitting smoking too, though... so I should go easier on her, but somehow I'm too much of a beach to do so.

Ooooooooooh Single 4... so happy to see you... lots and lots of hugs... and one more friendly nudge. Oh scuuuuzy, but my dear, I am soooo not one of the strong ones. Doc gave me the same meds as you. I am on day 6 of the medicine pack. Chantrix right?
And I want to smoke more with it... ahhhhhh. However, the doc said it won't start to kick in until the second week (which for me is this Sat). This Sat, was to be my quit date. When you start the pack, they want you to pick a quit date, which should be 7 days after you start the meds. But I wanted to join my girls on the top branch, so I started no cigs yesterday.
Oh Single glad I didn't pester you :). Here's a hug and we will be ringing your doorbell again, hee hee.
Many hugs again

Oh Synnen, then I need to be kind to her as well. Tell Miss Muphet that it would help, if she stood next to people who were smoking, drank lots of caffine, and alcohol, and kept cigaretts with her at all times as well as a lighter. This surely will help her to quit smoking.
Hee hee hee... I so bad. Tell Ms. Muphet no charge for the advice and to be sure and let us know how she is progressing... hee hee. ( I am being so naughty, well she started it by picking with our Synnen, so there !)

Lol! You rock!
She was hard to work with before we all started quitting (the boss offered everyone $500 to quit for 30 days... who could turn that down?) but now it's downright miserable!
I'd pass on your advice, but she might hide my body someplace no one could find it.
