Ok, so when I was a kid I saw this movie a bunch on TV and periodically over the last few years I try and find the name of it, but can't ever seem to find it.

I don't remember much about the plot, but here's some scenes from the movie that are kind of burned into my mind. Basically from what I remember it's about a few different killer robots, but big ones with saws and drills and killing instruments like that, at some point in the movie they are in a big skyscraper hunting down people in inside it while the "evil" guy controls them from some room.

Here's a few scenes that you might remember, if you know this movie:

1. One of the big robots is climbing up or down an elevator shaft, from what I remember this is one of those, the protagonist is one-step-ahead kind of scenes.

2. The female protagonist is on the roof with one of these killer robots and somehow tricks it into jumping off the roof of the sky scraper. There is a shot of it falling many stories to the ground. (this is a night scene)

3. Near the end of the movie the antagonist is killed by one of his robots which turns on him, possibly reprogrammed or something. It kills him with a huge drill bit into the chest.

That's about all I remember, and I really want to know the name of this movie. I asked another movie buff I know last night, I didn't give him this much detail and he said it might be Hardware. I looked up the trailer and I don't think it is that. I hope someone could help me, this has been bothering me for a long time.

Wow, that's it. Thank you so much. The only downside is that it is apparently terrible, lol. I guess when I was 8 it seemed better. It's OK though, I'm very happy to finally know what the movie is.
