What's the direction of your difference ? Is it positive or negative ?

I know the feeling,I know what difference means... if you don't mind I share my story with you.
I have had a very high rep. in high school, had a progressive rock band (I'm a drummer), a nice girl, but I've always wanted to be different so I've only learned subjects I'd like for example chemistry and biology. Needless to say I've failed physics and literature, so I had to learn all summer along. I couldn't go anywhere, lost my girl, my band, my whole "life"... I was learning and learning, made an B+ at the end of summer in literature but my physics teacher told me that "you don't understand the coherency behind this subject!" he failed me so I have to repeat The Whole Year Again. If I may that was not true; I have learned every page of the book from word to word, made a C BUT he failed me. Now I know what means to be different then others!

But in the other hand, I'm still differ than others. I do not know how I've had the strength to pull this summer off, but I made that without wenting crazy. I also possess the power of the smile, I can still smile, be kind and polite to girls and to everyone, and I'm also a talented jazz-drummer and now I'm the best student in class. And I'm handsome. So I think every single person has something above average skill/power/talent then the others, there is no such a man who is average in everything! :) Downside: I suck in maths, french, and I smoke half pack/day!
