    That happened in the movie "The Exorcist".. . but it was a teenager. Is that the movie you're thinking of?

    No that is not the movie. The two women were first scratched by a witch across their chest with the witches fingernails. This somehow set the spell. They were later observed with the crucifixes by law enforcement which had no idea what was going on.
