Water pipe leaks when shower is on.Had to tear out ceiling in kitchen below.
Is calling a plumber the wisest decision. Does it need to be soldered? We had a contractor take out tub ,sink ,and toilet, walls and floors and install all new. We are so disappointed.the contractor does not return any of our phone calls. I saw stop leak 2000 advertised. Is it a waste of money also?

How long ago was work completed?

Call a plumber to do repair and have him document the work and reason for repair. Then sue the original contractor.

Be sure new company has insurance.

We don't use products such as Stop Leak or Draino.
We locate the source of the problem so I can't comment on Stop Leak. Hell! It might even work
    Chuck had the right Idea.
Call in a plumber to repair the leak and then get a statement from him stating what he found wrong. Next, Call the Better Business Bureau and make a strong complaint. Then take your plumbers statement to small claims court and sue the hell out of the incompetent plumbing company. Let us know how you make out. Good luck, Tom
