Omg... I am so passing that thought on to my husband!

Actually, I think if I make it 6 months, there's already a heck of a prize waiting for me. Plus--who knows? Maybe this will be all it takes for us to get pregnant!

But... now I want an eternity band too.

Yes... we've been trying (with just charting ovulation and home methods) for about 3 years now.

We probably need to start consulting a fertility expert, but... that's very expensive, and not covered by insurance. So this is kind of our last effort at this before we start making major financial decisions.

Take the stick to him! It will help him remember romance! I promise! (It really just makes my husband laugh, but hey... whatever works)

Honestly, we haven't tried anything (other than practicing!) Most places that you can get reliable information charge for it. I've heard so many stories (some of them contradicting) on the web that I'm almost afraid of the whole thing!

In any case, I'll be saving money not smoking, so I can justify paying people for outrageous tests and opinions.

Nice! One thing my doc did say is that smoking is the number one cause of infertility. She didn't want to go forward with anything else until we quit first.

How are you holding out today? Still at 0?

    You're such a sweetie!

Grats on the 0! That's wonderful! Just remember to hold out when that craving comes back, because YOU are better than a nasty old habit! (if nothing else, remember that I was a 2 pack a day girl, and I held out against those demons! You can too!)

Oh hugs everyone... Yes, so far Allheart has held on to 0. Oh my. What a day.

First Synnen, special prayers for you and hubby.. & enjoy the practicing ;)

Okay, if I didn't smoke today, then I think I may never. Hubby and I decided that having 2 cars just is not practicle. I drive maybe twice a week and we ride in together. Keep in mind I just got my drivers license not even a year ago. Anyway, we traded in both cars for one car. Which is the smart thing to do. But oh how I cried handing in the keys. It was my baby that got me through the driving test and all. I am so grateful to that little car. But I am even more pleased that we now will only have one car payment and hopefully insurance will be a lot less. Hubby misses his SUV as well, but for once, we are using are heads.

Soooo during all the back and forth with the carsalesman and manager, Allheart wanted a cigy so bad, but thinking of all of you gave me such strength. I want one so bad right now, but not going to do it. We were at the car dealer from 1200 to 7pm. They are really nice there, but still they can make your head spin.

    Sorry for rambling on.

Hope all of you had a great day. Lots of hugs and thank you so much for keeping me strong.

So proud of all of you.

(CBW thanks for being such an angel :)

    Good Morning everyone,

How's everyone doing? Here's to another day 0. Chippers how did you do with the soda?

Laura, I just love being on that branch with you, thanks for making room :)

Well, the car that we bought is new to us, but actually is a 2005. I am very grateful for it, we both are a little sad about letting go of the other two. They were very good to us and held lots of memories. I even cried a little this morn. It's not the material thing, it's just the memories. Geez, there are people starving in the world and I am shedding a tear for a car. Shame on me. Sorry Guys.

Here's to a wonderful day for all. Sending lots of hugs.

I just did a naughty naughty. But I meant well. Single4 has a thread under collectibles going. And she asked what everyone collects. Since she has been MIA on this thread (she, I think is supposed to stop smoking tommorow, if I remember correctly), I popped in on her thread and responded, that I just started a collection....a collection of how many days I have not smoked...I asked her if she care to join me...hee hee.. Hope she doesn't mind, it was a friendly loving nudge.:p

It was a friendly nudge. Not a sermon on the evils of smoking. I'm sure she took it as it was meant in a friendly way.

My hushabd and I went on vacation and forgot everything. A bottle of asti and a year later we had Ryan aka #2. I heard the alcohol content increases the woman's vaginal secretions and makes it easier for the dad to be. (they get all the luck)

All heart I can relate. I cried when I watched my "special" car go down the road on the back of a tow truck. It had special memories and it was the first car I bought on my own. But as you said you have the memories. You can't worry about the world just your little corner of it. The fact you went through that trying time with out lighting up says allot aout your strenth and will ppower.

Cbw, how did it feel to not going down for a pack of cigs? I'm guessing it felt good and empowering too. Knowing you resisted temptation does make you feel stronger and if not a little bit more proud of yourself.

No one who hasn't been through the actual quitting and the withdraw have no idea the tremendous effort it takes. Not to mention the struggle. Its like learning new habits all over again. But we know the ends are worth it. So even with the jokes and the fun we take it seriously not just for ourselves but for everyone on this tread.

Just remember there's nothing wrong with wanting one. You can want one and remember how far we've come since Saturday. So far almost a week. Soooooooo chocolate roses for everyone.
Think of all the money you're saving on cigs, lighters breath mints. Your teeth will get whiter and not to mention your clothes will smell nicer too. Cbw, hun, you're setting such a good example for millie. Evenif she doesn't realize it yet.(maybe if she did she wouldn't be such and itch at night) for that I'm giving you the golden pacifier.

Keep up the good work. I'm inspired by you guys. So far I had 3 cans yesterday and one today. Chippers

Keep up your good work with your caffine don't reduce to quicly though the withdrawl from that is really strainge.

    Hugs to you xxxxx
