    New light fixture now dimmer won't work?
    We installed new chadelier with 6 candlebra stye lightbulbs. Now the dimmer switch does not work, but is usable to turn light off and on.

    What is the dimmer rated to handle in watts?

    What size wattage lamps?

    What type lamps? Incandescent? Fluorescent?

    Incomplete information in a questions results in poor answers.
