That's a good idea. Most parents prefer someone that's at least taken a course. Look in your area to see if there are any courses available, and when.

Then you just have to find customers. :)

Make some small signs on 3 x 5 cards or your computer and put them up at supermarkets, pet stores, and telephone poles.
Make a list of local emergency numbers also on a card to show that you are prepared, and think about all the ways you can be good at the job - experience with siblings or relatives or neighbors, basic first aid, (I assume you haven't had a CPR course at your age, but you can learn about choking). Offer 3 rates: just being there while doing homework, full time attention to the children, and cleaning house at the same time for the highest rate. Maybe an introductory rate for the first 2 times. Talk about how you are doing in school, how you help out at home, any skills, hobbies and sports. It's GOOD to brag when looking for work. Good luck.
