Mine just smiles, nods, and hugs me. I feel so guilty, I stop being mean.

    Synnen, that is so sweet.

Mine just said to me, "See how men get sympathy pain for when their wife is pregnant, well since you cut down smoking, I've been more hungry"... How funny is that!!

He's probably just envious that you're doing it!

*I* think you're doing great. Keep it up!

PS... mine was a jerk the first time I tried to quit, a couple years ago. That ended with me screaming at him, and slamming out the door to go buy a carton of cigarettes. I think he wants me to quit more than I want to quit this time, so he's not pushing my buttons.

Honey... you're doing as much for me as I am for you, if not more.

Your husband is just being smart and trying not to do or say the wrong thing, which you have to admit would be just about anything right now. /grin

You're doing awesome! You've made it all day! It feels like hell though, doesn't it? It will get worse yet--I won't lie to you. But it gets better too! Well, okay... not better. Easier is a more accurate word.

Give yourself some chocolate. You deserve it.

    (You too, Allheart!)

LOL the Curlybens family is just way to cute :).

Here's to a zero day tomorrow.

Hey Ben, any room under those stairs for Mr. Synnen and Mr. Allheart?

Oh my God, guess what Mr. Allheart just did?? He called me to the family room, as he is resting ever so nicely in his recliner, telling me I just have to come and see what is on the TV. Like a doodoo I rush to see what he is talking about... he starts laughing as says can you shut the blind on the window!! He just didn't want to get up... grrrrrrrrrr And you girls wonder why I can not make a 0 day. Hee Hee. Oh Ben, move over, there is company coming your way... and that would be a one way ticket... hee hee Oh my!

Omg j_9!! How terrible. I'll say a prayer and I hope he gets better quickly. Kids bounce back quickly. 3 cigs are nothing anyway. Allheart I feel for you. mr. chippers keeps asking me when I'm going to put the wash away. I told him I'm waiting for it to grow legs and put itself away. Silently thinking why he can't do it. Then I remember I'm talking about to a man(present company online excluded).
The house was too quiet today after the kids went back to school after being home sick for a week. I've had 4 glasses of coca cola today and that's down from 7. I had a head ache and felt a little sluggish but it went away after a while.
You're quitting smoking is inspiring me to give up caffeine. If I can get down to one caffeinated soda (I don't drink coffee or hot tea) in the morning I'll be happy. So you're strength gives me strength. ;)

Well Good Morning one and All,

Isn't this just a lovely day. Hmmm Chippers, we bring you along with us, and you are doing great cutting down the caffiene. Way to go. Just think of us picking up a cig, when you pick up that can of soda K?

Now, ask me the question... go ahead... ask me how many I have had today... hee hee..

Oooooh a big fat 0. Since it is the only time I got to ever post that number thought I better do it in a hurry.

For some reason today, I really want one, but I am going to try my dardest not to. And I have all of you to thank.

Much love and hugs!! Stay strong..

( LOL CBW - I will remember the blind cord next time.. hee hee hee. )

I am so proud of all of you. If I could send you all chocolate roses I would. In regards to the blind cord, my fall back is the cast iron skillet I asked for and got when we were married. Got to go, I ve got 5 cats staring longingly at my leg. Time to feed'em. j_9, I hope johnnie is feeling better today. I'll be thinking of him and you today. Beth;)

Try putting sugar free gummie bears in the frig before eatting them. It takes longer to chew them and your desire for a smoke has passed. Curly, I would never suspect you of being nasty. Considering what you're going through to stay healthy no one has any right to quible.

Keep up the good work. Beth

Ah I love gummie bears but they hate my teeth I shouldn't even be eating sweets lol.
I may well be going through what id call with drawl hell but I also keep reminding myself that I put myself there in the first place I can't even remember why I started smoking in the first place but I sure wish I had'nt.

Hugs to your Beth hope your day is being enjoyable xx
