    Friends divorce question
    Hi. My friend is getting a divorce. She is on the title of a house in Oklahoma with her soon to be ex-husband, though she is not on the loan. She wants to be taken off the title and just let the husband have the house. Does anyone know the steps to take to help her. Thank you.

    She should discuss the option of a quitclaim deed with her attorney. S(he) will go over the potential pros and cons of doing so depending on your friend's situation.

    Sometimes people make decisions when going through a divorce because they just want things over and done with and that may or may not be in their best interest long term. Her attorney will be able to help her make those decisions.
