Do I need a humidifer on my new AC/heat pump?
My new unit takes up more space and the humidifer needs to be removed.

Heat pumps do not dry the air out the way that gas heat does so you do not need a humidifier with your new system. Make sure to close the water line completely so that the old control cannot malfunction later on.
