I resign from my company a few weeks ago because I had another manager accuse me of stealing money and he also cal the cops telling them that I was trying to assault him. The company lost prevention team call me in to interview me about the missing money, even do I was not working for the company I still went because I had nothing to hide. When I went for the interview I was being acuse of stealing over 4,000 dollars in money. I answer all their questions and I told them I did not steal nothing. They told me that they had videos and other evidence proving other wise, I ask hem to show me the evidence and they refuse to do so. After 3 hours of interigation they told me to go home and that I was clear. Two days ago I revieve a letter from a law firm saying that I am being sue by the company for stealing 500 dollars in unpaid merchandise.That is not true also I never stold merchendise from that company. I feel that they are trying to get at me in any way possible. What can I do? I need help.
