    Can my principle expel me?
Ok, so I'm a Junior and wanted to go to the college fair. I lost my papers to turn it in so I was just going to get a note and do it. The next morning I asked the counselor about it and she said I couldn't leave even though I had the note. I consulted with my friend after this and when the bell rang I asked her if my mom called could I go. She gave me a snappy NO and I walked away saying "Id rather Ditch." She hates me already so she went to the VP and said I called her a *****. Im on suspension and if I get another referral I get expelled. So my question is, Can I get expelled for something I didn't do?
Thanks to everyone that answers! :)

It's spelled principal = head of a school. Principle = rule.

Who had signed the note? Did you really say "I'd rather ditch"? Or what she thought she'd heard? (Be honest, so I can give you good advice.)

I got suspended for a similar thing back in Middle-school. I was in the office and I told the principal I wouldn't do something again. As she walked away I held up my crossed fingers (implying that I was lying).

Needless to say a teacher told the principal I flipped her off. I got suspended.

Its your word against the counselors. If you're a "troublemaker" you're more likely to get the boot. Pleed your case but be honest.

Is there some way to defend yourself, or make amends? Are you sometimes a "troublemaker"?

Er, Well I am on a contract because last year the school made me take some medications. The medications made me extremely moody and I ended up expelled. I am on a contract saying that iif I get suspension I get expelled. My friend was there too, by the way.

Okay, so they're lying in wait for you.

Certainly there must be a wide enough paper trail behind you to help you justify former bad behaviors. Are any teachers on your side?

Do some kind of work that will cancel out the suspension, and put you back to square one again. It would show your good heart and willingness to cooperate.

If you beg, they would just laugh. Have you asked about working it off?

Are you good at something -- say, math? Or one of the sciences? What if you did penance by serving as a peer tutor for maybe a month or two, helping a classmate, or more likely someone younger, with math or science? This would help you AND the other student and would show your good faith.
