Putting back the old taps in the kitchen
I wanted to replace taps and spout in the kitchen with a mixer but don't have the correct tools to finish the job. I put the old taps back together but now they won't turn on or off any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

What tools are missing? You no doubt disturbed some mineral build up in the pipes. Did you flush out the supplies when you have the faucet off? Did you check the aerator screens for a clog? Tell me what you've done so far. Let's get the lines cleared and install the new faucet. Tell me what you're missing. Back to you, tom
