    Sara, the description of seiving, whisking and folding is self explanatory, and can't really be explained in the 'principles of cooking'. Principles of cooking are making gravies, sauces, various ways of preparing meats for cooking, mixture of flours and other ingredients for preparing pastry and cakes, et al.
