    Why would some wonds require you to keep them open to the air?
    Why would some wonds require you to keep them open to the air for an amount of time duriing the healing process?
    (think bacteria)

    Yes, and I have read the section three times and asked half the kids in my class and we can not figure it out. We are just idiotic.

    For healing purposes. Keeping the wound moist tends to do what? (think bacteria)
