    If it is an Inground pool, you can simply fill it in with dirt. Or if you really want it out, demolish it. Takes a lot of time and the haul away fees are high. If you fill it in with dirt be sure to close off the drain and seal it and make sure your water outlets are sealed off. The reason for this is if you ever want to reuse it its best to keep the pipes free of debris.

    Chevy, I am fairly certain the poster wants to close it up for the winter, how do you close a pool at the end of the season.
