Feeling pressure and slight cramping at 30 weeks
I am 30 weeks pregnant with my third child. In the first trimester I was extremely sick, but it went away in my second trimester. Yesterday morning I felt quesy and then started feeling the pressure in my pelvic area. Today I am still experiencing pressure and now it is accompanied by slight cramping. It is not unbearable or painful just uncomfortable. Should I be concerned?

Some pressure and off and on cramping can be normal. When you feel it, press your stomach all over. If hard all over, and comes and goes, it is likely a Braxton Hicks contraction.

Some women feel them more often than others, but if you notice more than 4-5 in an hour, change your activity... get something to eat, go lay down, etc. and get plenty to drink. If it doesn't subside, let your doctor or midwife know... could be preterm labour.

Some women also, unfortunately, experience some "morning sickness" again later in pregnancy.

Certainly wise to inform your doctor or midwife of anything new that causes you concern.
